Mrs. Babb received her training from the Margaret Smith Ballet Theatre,
Performing Arts, Gus Giordano of Chicago, and numerous other instructors.
While attending the University of Memphis working towards her minor in dance,
Beth participated in the University's dance company. She was a former entertainer at Libertyland, a past USO tour group entertainer,
former choreographer for the Bartlett Community Theatre, choreographer for
staging of special events with the Hickory Ridge Mall Center Stage,
and the lead dancer of the shows "Memphis Blues Show" and "A Tribute to Elvis".
She was a Mid-South Fair Sweepstakes winner, filmed in a local dance show pilot
that aired in Memphis, and danced at several NBA halftime performances along
with instructing several past Star Search contestants. Mrs. Babb is a registered member of Master Dance of America and Teachers of
Dance Education and accredited to teach all forms of dance. Mrs. Babb was
honored this year by being nominated for "Outstanding Teacher of the Year"
through the "Governor's School of Tennessee". The honor of the
"Reader's Choice Awards" for Best Service Business/Dance Studios was Beth Cross
Centre of Dance & Voice.
