In May of 1996, Mr. Percefull received his Bachelor of Music in
Vocal Performance from Ouachita Baptist University. While at OBU, he studied
privately with Dr. Charles Wright, performed with the Ouachita Sounds, a twelve
member show choir under the direction of Mary Shambarger, and was a member of
the Ouachita Singers and the University Choir. Other OBU performances include
premiering works of student composers and world renown composer W. Francis
McBeth. Mr. Percefull has been involved with several musical theatre and
operatic performances both on stage as a featured performer and off stage as a
production assistant. He has received in depth studies in speech pathology,
choral conducting, vocal diction and vocal pedagogy. During the summers of his
college years, he performed in shows at Magic Springs, a theme park in Hot
Springs, AR. Since graduating, Mr. Percefull has been teaching privately in
studios in Arkansas and Tennessee, as well as performing jazz and
blues in Memphis. He was also contracted for two seasons by Heartbeat
Productions as vocal director and production assistant for the
Libertyland shows. Mr. Percefull is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
